WOLV Sports Department
Throughout the year we are hard at work covering football, men’s and women’s basketball, and all Michigan sports. You want LIVE coverage of Olympic sports? We’ve got it. Click here for more information.
There are opportunities for people with extensive video production experience and little previous experience. There is a role for those who live and die with the Wolverines, and those who maintain a cursory interest in Michigan sports. WOLV has shows devoted to football (Varsity Blue), basketball (Alley-Oop) and hockey (Overtime), in addition to Sportnite, a comprehensive wrap-up of all Michigan sports and You Say Maize, I Say Blue, a sports discussion show that tackles any and every sports topic out there.
WOLV members have the opportunity to attend every Michigan football game (home and away), as well as travel all across the Midwest, and country, covering Michigan sports teams. WOLV members also work games for ESPN, CBS and BigĀ Ten Network when requested. Working with the the Athletic Department, WOLV members have the opportunity to film almost every Michigan sporting event.
WOLV Sports members have made their mark in the sports broadcasting business, with alums and current members working/interning for the NFL Network, ESPN, Comcast SportsNet, WXYZ-7, Big Ten Network, and many others. So if you dream about becoming the next Stu Scott, Mike Tirico, Bonnie Bernstein, or Adam Wallace, WOLV is the place for you.
