Why Join WOLV?

WOLV-TV is broadcasting BRAND NEW original programming all the time.  For more on your favorite shows and to see special behind the scenes clips check out the WOLV show blogs. To view them, click on any of the blog links on the sidebar.

Do you want to be a part of WOLV-TV? Do you love sports? Do you thrive on your daily news fix? Or do just HAVE to know what your favorite celebrity couple is up to now? Not only does your life revolve around these things, but do you want to help inform your fellow students about them as well? Here at WOLV-TV, we have great shows in news, sports, and entertainment. Newsfeed, Sportsnite, EBuzz…just three out of the many great shows that you can be a part of. You can be a writer, or a producer, or even a director. You can even create your own show!

Do you want to work your smile and get some on-air time? Maybe you just want to learn how a television studio works. You can learn how to work a camera. You can find out how to use a switcher in the control room. Do you wish you knew how to edit videos? We do that all of the time! In fact, we have three Mac Pro stations used for just that! Hey, if we have the equipment, and you don’t know how to use it, we’ll train you!

Okay, so not everyone is meant to be in a television studio or a control room. But, do you still love television and want to join in on the process? Well, there is always our business department. Are you good at crunching numbers? Or do love making the most attractive flyers and banners? We welcome students of all talents and aspirations.
